Dr. Claudia Petersen is a North Shore native. She graduated from Northwestern University, the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and the Internal Medicine residency at Evanston Hospital, including a year as Chief Medical Resident. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has been practicing in the Glenview and Northbrook area since 1990 in affiliation with the Northshore/Endeavor Health. Dr. Petersen has special interests in women’s health, medicine in literature, and medical ethics. She has been a long time member of the hospital’s ethics committee. She is married with 2 daughters and is an avid vegetable gardener, sailor and musician.
