Dr. David Belohlavek is a board-certified internal medicine physician who takes a thoughtful,
down-to-earth approach to care. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients,
focusing on prevention, and helping people make informed decisions about their health.
He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Chicago Program at Evanston
Hospital, after earning his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin
University. Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Belohlavek also studied Medicinal Biochemistry in
Arizona before pursuing medicine. He speaks English fluently and is conversational in Czech.
Patients appreciate his clear communication, sense of humor, and commitment to improving
their quality of life. Whether it’s managing chronic conditions or staying on top of preventive
care, Dr. Belohlavek works to create a comfortable, collaborative environment.
Outside of the clinic, he lives in Evanston with his wife, their spoiled dog, and a senior cockatiel.
Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, and lifting weights.
